It's all clear now

This afternoon, post-Trixie-nap, I was puttering around in the dining room. I'd put Bailey down on a couple of quilts on the floor in the living room, and I knew Trixie was in there too, playing with something or other.

I heard a furious rattle of plastic, and then giggles,. then more plastic rattling, so I went in.

Trixie held one end of a chain of plastic links and Bailey held the other and they were thrashing it back and forth and laughing hysterically at each other.

"Ah," I thought. "THIS is why I wanted them to have a sibling."

Yes, so they can lock each other up in Fisher Price manacles!

Well, this is my second comment! Please bear with us (that is me) as we are a couple of generations behind this wonderful infant world. I can just imagine Trixie looking at someone with those lovely brown eyes and talking quite seriously and I wonder if Bailey is going to be a fun-loving type and so they may complement one another as they grow. Hope we get to know them personally before they grow too much.
This blog takes a bit of getting used to and remembering to look it up. And of course there is nobody like a mother - so dependable and with a fierce desire for the wellbeing of the children she has borne. But this is not really the blog comment that's expected - I'm making excuses for my slowness in getting into the swing of the thing!
One thing I will say - how wonderful it is that breast feeding is a natural for you - I got a little better each time so may be if we'd had sixteen or so children I may have found it easier to fully breast feed. A bit late now.
Don't give up on the blog - I will persevere. Love from us to all of you.

It's a delightful picture.
Imprint this image in your memory, so that when there are NOT hysterical giggles at each end of a tug of war, but indignant screams, you'll be able to remember the good old days.

I *can't imagine* what you're talking about....Har har har. Bailey learned to scootch this weekend and is proto-crawling, so the first thing he did was scootch acroos the floor to Trixie's Lego train to lovingly bathe it in drool -- until she found him and took it away.

That's really encouraging - and it's why I think we should have #2, except that I don't know when we'll get around to it...
