Housekeeping

I've decided to close all comments except for the most current entry. I've been getting a lot of comment spam and it's a pain in the ass to have to delete it all from old entries. It's not like anyone but my mother has anything to say to me about these entries anyway, so I don't expect anyone else will care.

I'm a little discouraged by the near-total lack of comments from the family members who I know are reading this blog. Take five seconds and tell me something about the stories I'm telling about your niece, nephew, granddaughter, grandson, great-granddaughter, great-grandson -- or I may decide to stop telling them and you can go back to relying on infrequent visits and yearly birthday cards for your information.

This is for all of you who read the blog but don't respond: PLEASE WRITE! Sometimes I don't know quite what to say either, because my first response is to laugh out loud, smile, or in the case of the incident with the pregnancy-related bladder mishap, to agonize over the dilemma.

These entries are extrememly important to me as they are almost my only way to learn about the day to day activities of my grandchildren, and the wonderful people who are raising them. I try not to dwell on how much I miss all of them, including Rachel and Amy, but it's hard, and I need these entries to keep the worst of the homesickness at bay.

Please give Cori the feedback the blog deserves.

Gosh! I've just been stirred/pushed/shoved/kicked into action! Yes, lack of response is very disappointing so I'll join the action group! Mind you, this is a new phase for an 87-year-old trying to keep up with modern technology. But now I'm into it I might just find a bit of ghusto to go with it! What rubbish I talk. I really did enjoy all the blog but can I say here that in our generation such intimate details of pregnacy were not for public display and were discussed with those in one's private life so I've had to try to discard those old-fashioned inhibitions and get with it. Just give me a little time. Yes, it does mean that we feelnearer to you because of all this. SO!
