I can only say that my inexcusable sloth in updating this blog is due to several mitigating circumstances, the most important being that we were out of the country for most of January. We went to New Zealand for a family function and had a wonderful time. We then spent most of February recovering from it.
Trixie is walking, running, and babbling words like "mama" "[ba]nana" and "Mah!" aka her friend Mac. She should be in the toddler room at daycare with Mac and her other friends, but they're waiting for a spot to open up. I find this incredibly frustrating but I am trying to be patient, since it's not their fault, and once she's there I will be pleased that the class isn't crowded with too many kids per caregiver.
Other excuses: I still have not figured out the code to bring the comments page and the individual entry pages into line, design-wise, with the rest of the blog. This annoys me, so I ignore it and thus, everything off the home page looks like crap. I do apologize.
There are other things going on that are important, but I will blog about them later, when the time is right. (Is that mysterioius enough? ooooh!)
